Summary

Description
English: Fahnestock clips on a home-made crystal radio. Clips are used for connection to antenna, ground, and headset. "Bread-board" construction, literally screwing components onto a cutting board or similar small piece of flat wood, was a traditional construction technique in the early days of radio. A modern crystal diode is mounted between the clips.
