English: The Heckler & Koch G3 battle rifle. This specimen was used by the Swedish Army Administration between 1960 and 1964 for evaluation. In the end, the G3 was selected as the new service rifle (with several modifications) for the Swedish Armed Forces in 1964, under the designation Ak 4. The rifle was donated to the Swedish Army Museum in 1968.
