Merknad:

Togulykke ved Nidareidtunellen den 18. september 1921. I forbindelse med Dovrebanens høytidelige åpning i Trondheim 17. september hadde det kommet et stort antall prominente gjester til byen. Da en del av gjestene skulle reise tilbake til hovedstaden om kvelden den 18. september, kolliderte deres ekstratog med et annet tog like sør for Nidareidtunnelen. Det andre toget skulle ventet på Marienborg, men føreren hadde ikke oppfattet denne ordren.

Seks personer omkom i ulykken og 13 ble skadd. (Trondheim byleksikon, 2008)
