Summary

Description Wigham's 31-day oil lamp. Invented in 1877 by John R Wigham. Fitted in a buoy or mounted on a tower. This example is an exhibit in National Maritime Museum of Ireland. It is the property of the Maritime Institute of Ireland. I took this photo on behalf of the MII. If reproducing please reference the museum.
