DescriptionPath to Totality in Cleveland (53650459062).jpg
Despite our usual gray skies here in Cleveland, OH, we were graced with somewhat clear viewing during the total solar eclipse on May 8th, 2024.
This composite is created from images taken through my 9.25" Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope and a Canon EF 200mm L II lens x2 Extended using my Canon EOS 5D Mark III.
Sadly, I missed capturing the details of solar prominence in 64Mp detail during totality, but three and a half minutes doesn't give you very much time to get all the images you want.
I'm just grateful to have experienced this in my lifetime.
