Description

Coat of arms of Aroneanu, Romania (from ro.wiki: Stema comunei Aroneanu se compune dintr-un scut având pe câmp roşu un arac de vie cu trei struguri, de aur. Şeful crenelat, pe hermină, are în mijloc o cruce greacă, de aur.

Şeful de hermină simbolizează mantia domnească şi semnifică faptul că în această localitate se află ultima ctitorie înălţată de un domn din clanul Muşatinilor - Biserica Sfântul Nicolae a lui Aron Vodă (1594), monument de referinţă în evoluţia arhitecturii ecleziastice moldoveneşti. Aracul de vie cu struguri semnifică străvechile vii de la Şorogari. Şeful crenelat face trimitere la incinta fortificată (astăzi dispărută) a mănăstirii de aici. Crucea greacă aminteşte de hramul Mănăstirii Sfântul Nicolae. Coroana murală, de argint, cu un turn crenelat, semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.)

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
