The 2023 election for mayor of Danbury, Connecticut in the United States was between Democratic Party candidate Roberto Alves and Republican Party candidate. Dean Esposito. Alves won the election with 51.2% of the vote vs Esposito's 48.8%.^[1] The Democrats have 17 council seats (5 at large; 12 district) compared to the Republicans' 4 council seats (2 at large, 2 district).^[2]
