Advaitha is an Indian cinematographer who is known for his work in Kannada industry.
Bio[edit]
Advaitha Gurumurthy is an Indian cinematographer and filmmaker who has worked in Kannada and Telugu Cinema. After assisting award-winning cinematographer Madhu Ambat. Over the next two years, Gurumurthy graduated from being an observer to assisting him. He was a part of the cinematography team for National Award-winning Gubbachigalu under Vikram Shrivastava.[1]
Advaitha made his debut in the Kannada industry in 2016 with the feature film Devara Naadalli. He went on to work on films like, Churikatte, Kavaludaari, Premier Padmin and U Turn. He made his debut in the Telugu film industry with Kirrak Party, which went on to win the Karnataka State Film Award, Filmfare Award South and South Indian International Award in multiple categories.
Early Life & Education[edit]
Advaitha Gurumurthy has studied cinematography from L V Prasad Film and TV academy where he was a gold medalist. It was here that he made his first short film Indhiyam (2011), which won him an award for best cinematography - Fuji film INDRADHANUSH 2011. It was showcased at The International Film Festival of the Art Of Cinematography in Poland.
