Ahmed Siam Abdullah (20) is a student at University of Rajshahi, studying Persian language and literature. He comes from a family in Rajshahi city. Despite being a student, he is an younger entrepreneur in Bangladesh. He is involved in managing around a hundred individuals under his supervision in DX Group and DX Technologies, many of whom are engaged in various work activities.[1]

Biography[edit]

Ahmed Siam Abdullah was born on September 17, 2003 in Naogaon district. He is the only child of his parents. His father works in Islami Bank. His grandfather's house is in Bagmara village of Rajshahi district and his maternal grandfather's house is in Manda police station of Naogaon district. But currently he is living permanently in Rajshahi city.

Early life[edit]

At a young age, he did not get much support from his family to advance in this sector. But he grew up in a well-to-do family. He had a strong will to do something himself, even if he was not driven by scarcity. Later, he plans to build a career by capitalizing on his coding skills. From this thought, he started his first job in a tech firm at the end of 2020. As his progress was not as planned, he joined another startup tech company as a share partner after a few months[2] In the startup tech company, the joint ventures between the share partners were different and we moved out after a year. Later in the middle of 2022 our DX technology journey started.

Marriage[edit]

He married Sumaiya Akhtar, daughter of Md. Sekendar Ali of the same district, in mid-2022 through a family arrangement.

Philosophical views[edit]

Despite being born in a working class family, he feels that at the center of every job is capital based business. And there was encouragement from the family to take up that business as a career. Moreover, in the case of employment, the amount of income is limited to a certain number, but in the case of business, the amount of income depends on the effort. According to him, be it job or business, the context is different but challenges have to be faced in all situations.

In a press conference, he told Rising BD, 'Besides giving time to university classes and friends, sitting in the office on time is definitely very challenging. On the one hand, such as thinking about the exam, on the other hand, the calculation of profit and loss. But trying for career development along with education also gives some kind of peace of mind. Idle time that we could have wasted aimlessly was spent discussing with a client almost twice my age how my team and I could play a role in tailoring his business module'.

Recognition[edit]

Abdullah's journey began with the realization that the job market was fiercely competitive for students. Despite this, he decided to take initiative and become self-reliant. They established a presence in various educational institutions and remote work platforms, managing a skilled workforce of 27 people. Their monthly collective income exceeds a substantial amount. His software development company DX Technology's team presented their upcoming Doorsteps project at the North Bengal Startup Summit-2023 last year, winning fourth place among 25 startup tech companies from across the country. His company is growing fintech and adtech businesses in several sectors including DX Learning, DX Ultima.
