Draft:Landon Steptoe

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Landon Steptoe was born in Cleveland, Ohio also known as the home of the Cleveland Bears. Landon Steptoe later moved to Mont Belvieu, TX at the young age of 4. There he later went on to play for their home football team's varsity, the Barbers Hill Eagles. He eventually led his football team to a 5A Division One Football State Championship beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 27-0 in his freshman year. He had an exceptional game with 4 interceptions, 3 touchdowns, and 304 passing yards. He even had one play where he threw the ball up into the air, ran 50 yards caught it, and ran in for a touchdown. Some people from his hometown call him the next Randy Moss, or Tom Brady. But this isn´t even the most of it.

In the springtime, he joined the Barbers Hill Track & Field team. As he stated at the start of the season, "I don´t know how well I will do, But I will try my hardest" and that he did. He went on to win the Texas 5A State Track & Field Championship in events including the 100, 200, and 400 meters, along with the 4x1 and 4x4 relays. Many were surprised by his exceptional talent winning so many events he even broke the world record in the 100-meter sprint with an astounding 9.31. He stated after the championship, "It was pretty easy, I thought the competition was going to be a lot harder."
He said he is going to stay with Barbers Hill for the rest of his high school career. But unlike the rest of his team, he may not stay as long as you think. This is because he is expected to be the first high schooler to ever graduate from high school early and go straight to college. This seems very profound but if you hear about his long list of offers you will see why. Just to name a few of them there is UT, Texas A&M, Ball State, Michigan, Michigan State, California, FSU, Boston College, Duke, Harvard, Cambridge, Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Oregon, Baylor, Virginia Tech, Florida, Miami, Akron, Houston Texans. Although he has all of these Full-ride Scholarships he has committed to Ball State for Football, men's Volleyball, Track & Field, swimming, and tennis. As of today, he is currently being looked at by the Montreal Expos for a starting point guard position.
Back in 2015, he won the national reading club championship reading the entire Diary of a Wimpy Kid series in 55 minutes and 300 seconds. Defeating many top-level athletes such as Bol Bol, SZA, and Pop Smoke.
