Madden is an upcoming American biographical sports drama film directed by David O. Russell and written by Cambron Clark.

Depicts the life of football legend John Madden.

It was announced in May 2023 that Will Ferrell had entered early negotiations to star in the film as Madden, with David O. Russell set to direct.[1]
In April 2024, it was announced Hugh Jackman was now set to star as Madden, with Tom Hanks entering negotiations to play Al Davis.[2]
Filming[edit]
Principal photography is scheduled to begin in late 2024.[2]
