Peeran Family
Peeran family is descendant of Hazarat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani and only family known by the name of Peeran, settled in Karachi well before partition of the subcontinent. A well reputed family.
Idrees Peeran is now the head of family who is a spiritual person with no interaction with any political, bureaucracy or agencies.
His whole activity is staying at home and spend time in religious activities. Numerous people seek his help for resolution of issues through prayers. He also holds many "Ziarat" of Holy prophet (Peace be upon him) and his family.
His source of income is through an investment in
Oil Company. All transaction is done through NBP and the money earned is spend on distribution of food and clothes to needy. He distributes food to about 2000 people daily besides cloth and food to many Dara Ul Sakoon of Karachi.
He strictly avoid politics and never accept even a penny of charity from anyone and only uses his own money. He also does not allow his charity to be diverted to any political organization or other motive.
