Suborno Bose is a chartered accountant with 25+ years of entrepreneurial experience in different locations across the globe. As the founder and chief mentor of the Indismart Group, his mission is to create magic moments for everyone (from visitors and guests to people working in the organization) at every opportunity.

The first step towards mentoring the students for making them future ready was with Institute of Advanced Management in 1989. this was followed by International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) in the year 1994.

Dr. Suborno Bose is a Hospitality Evangelist & inarguably the country's best-known hospitality educator. IIHM and IAM Hotel Schools have been able to mark their presence not only in Kolkata but also in Delhi, Goa, Bangkok, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Under the leadership of Dr. Suborno Bose, The Indismart Group has ventured into an ambitious project in collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation set up by the Government of India with the objective of providing vocational training to the unskilled & semi-skilled personnel and has a vision of training 180,000 students across India in the next 10 years.

Dr Bose has been instrumental in creating The International Hospitality Day, which is celebrated every year on 24th April and is a unique Initiative of the IHC (International Hospitality Council) with three major objectives - to Celebrate, Promote and Educate Hospitality.

In 2017 On the occasion of International Hospitality Day, Dr Bose conferred the 'Hall of Fame' Award to Mr. Ratan N. Tata, Chairman of the Tata Group for his immense contribution to the hospitality industry.

Career

Dr. Bose is currently the Member of the Education/ Tourism/ Hospitality Managing Committees and Sub-committees of various Chambers of Commerce & Industry including CII, BCCI, FHRAI, ICC as well as other Government authorities in Telecom and Railways in India.
