Vincent Doumeizel, is a seaweed specialist and author of the book "The Seaweed Revolution" (Hero Press) published in English in April 2023[1] and translated in many languages [2][3]

Agri-food Director at the Lloyd's Register Foundation and Ocean Advisor to the United Nations Global Compact, he promotes the use of seaweed to support addressing planetary crises (food, social, climate and environmental).[4]

In 2021, he founded the Global Seaweed Coalition, hosted at the UN and bringing together players in the sector[5] [6]
