Hoşdere is a village in the Ardeşen District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 215 (2021).[2]

History[edit]

According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Cherana, which means "factory". Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[3]

Geography[edit]

The village is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) away from Ardeşen.
