Mukhtar Suleiman (born 10 October 1998) is a Somalian footballer who plays as a forward for Tweede Divisie club Spakenburg, and the Somalia national team.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

Club career[edit]

Suleiman played in the lower leagues of the Netherlands, notably scoring fifteen goals for Hollandia before a move to Oostzaan.[11]

On 7 December 2022, it was announced that Suleiman would join Tweede Divisie club Spakenburg from the 2023–24 season.[12] He had a highly successful first season at the club, scoring 16 goals in 32 league appearances, helping Spakenburg to the league title; his third consecutive Tweede Divisie win, following two previous wins with Katwijk.[13][14][15]

International career[edit]

Suleiman was called up to the Somalia national football team in March 2022. He scored in a 3–1 friendly loss to Tanzanian club team Azam.[16]
