O'Keefe

O'Keefe/O'Keeffe is an Irish surname, from the (Irish:O'Caoimh/Caomh.) It has links to Irish Royalty, with the family descended from Art Caemh who was the son of Finguine.

It is related to a number of Irish surnames, the first being "O'Caomhain" meaning "son of Kevin", more commonly anglicized as Kavanagh, Keaveney, and MacKinnon, derived from "fionn" = "fair".
