- 1935 - Milt Plum, quarterback, played in two Pro Bowls over a 13-season NFL career.
- 1951 - Ray Hamilton, defensive lineman with a nine-year career for the New England Patriots. In the 1976 NFL playoffs he was given a roughing the passer penalty that allowed the Oakland Raiders to extend their late-game drive and ultimately win, en route to a Super Bowl XI victory.
- 1967 - Mark Stepnoski, center who played in five Pro Bowls and two Super Bowls over a 13-year NFL career with the Cowboys and Oilers.
