Why is the Costliest removed?[edit]

The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board stated the Enbridge oil spill near Marshall, Michigan is the costliest onshore cleanup in U.S. history .(Fox Business)

1. NTSB stated the oil spill is the costliest; why is that a "current event"? If they had stated, now, that a 1999 spill was the costliest, would that be a "current event"? If not, this shouldn't be. Perhaps a backdated entry around the actual spill...
2. They apparently don't define "costliest"; actual dollars? constant dollars? inflation-adjusted dollars?
