"At the Water Company of Scutari"?[edit]

There is some story or poem printed in the Servet-i Funun in Ottoman Turkish and French https://archives.saltresearch.org/bitstream/123456789/129372/347/PFSIF9180502A212.jpg WhisperToMe (talk) 00:19, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Üsküdar the town and Üskudar the district need separate pages[edit]

Üsküsar is a large district of Istanbul with a reputation for conservatism. But Üsküdar is also a whole province running up to Beykoz. Really there need to be two separate pages, the first describing the settlement that started life as Chrysopolis, the second describing the province and all the areas - Beylerbeyi, Kuzguncak etc - that make it up. Without that, the article is far too confusing. I am not yet able to create new pages so cannot set up the second page to separate out what is Üsküdar the area from Üsküdar the province. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ealinggirl1954 (talkcontribs) 21:40, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
