Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an attack or a negative unsourced biography of a living person, because I see no attack content here, a quick search on google news demonstrates that this happened --Lil Johnny (talk) (contribs) 04:03, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removed sanctions notice[edit]

Since it was placed by a non-admin about a topic that is not part of the Syrian Civil War or ISIL (even broadly construed). If any admin wants to revert this action by another non-admin (me), please do. I went ahead and did it per BOLD/IAR because it looked to be copied from another talk page and not intentionally placed. Move explanation[edit]

I went ahead and BOLDLY moved this because the existing title was problematic on two fronts: it wasn't a skirmish, and it wasn't at the White House. These are factual issues that failed verification via the NYT. I'm not stuck on the current title, but it was the best one I could think of, and thought that moving quickly was better than an RM given the WP:V and WP:NPOV issues. If someone has a better suggestion, I am more than open to it. I left the term skirmishes as existing in the article, because it is used once by the NYT, but they prefer protests and protestors, and using it in the title gives this the false sense of a military agreement that the Times was not going for.
