Name of this party[edit]

I have seen this party referred to as the All Nigeria Peoples Party, the All Nigeria Peoples' Party, and, less often than the other two spellings, the All Nigeria People's Party (which is what we have here). The Nigerian Independant National Elections Commission gives their name as All Nigeria Peoples Party (no apostrophe). [1] The Government of Nigeria lists them the same way. [2] Unfortunately, the ANPP doesn't seem to have a website, as far as I can tell. But with the Elections Commission and nigeria.gov.ng both giving it as All Nigeria Peoples Party, without an apostraphe, should this article perhaps be moved to that spelling? • I'll assume that there are no objections and proceed with the move now. Heather 19:40, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a bit late to the discussion, but that seems prefectly reasonable. Picaroon 20:01, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Defunct?[edit]

This article states:

In February 2013 the party merged with the Action Congress of Nigeria, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, and the Congress for Progressive Change to form the All Progressives Congress.

If this is true, than isn't this party defunct? Charles Essie (talk) 20:23, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
