Appropriate use of first person plural?[edit]

From the article: "In 1894, they retained the first of our great Rabbis, Abraham Samuel Braude zt"l, who served until his death in 1907, and the shul took its place in the top rank of Chicago Jewry"

This use of "our" is not appropriate for an encyclopedia article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.103.180.1 (talk) 14:56, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Much of the article is spamming. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.139.189.119 (talk) 15:30, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've done a lot of re-writing to this article to make it at least seem encyclopedic. It still requires citations and does seem like a giant ad for the establishment, but this way the article is readable. Leaving the edit request for someone to do a thorough cleaning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shinobi078 (talkcontribs) 20:36, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
