His military rank[edit]

His military rank is Sarlashkar in Persian. Lashkar means division and Sarlashkar means Divisional General which equals Major General. At this time this is the highest military rank that one live person holds. After death of two of Iranian Major Generals (Mohammadvali Qarani and Ali Sayyad Shirazi) their ranks improved to Sepahbod (Corps General or Lieutenant General). 109.162.214.99 (talk) 10:27, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
