Units[edit]

The "annual generation" and "net generation" fields in the infobox were given with no units. I have updated them with my "best guess" units - GWh seem the most probable fit to the other data. If anyone knows better, please correct my guess. Ideally, these fields (and indeed all dimensioned numeric fields) should be reviewed across all uses of the "infobox power station" template, but that is beyond my limited abilities! ... of course, this is a French power station, so the commas could be decimal points, in which case the units would be TWh! FredV (talk) 10:50, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Future shutdown date[edit]

Shutdown of unit B1-B4 is not definitively planned. The French Autorité de sûreté nucléaire has validated that it should be possible to operate safely all the 900 MW reactors for 40 years. But each reactor needs then an individual confirmation (one every ten years), and could be ordered to be shut down earlier if a problem is found. And when the 40 years period ends, EDF may convince the ASN that they can operate longer than that if no aging problem is found. So the 40 years period means something, but not really much. I tried to find an adequate expression for that with Qualified to operate until --Jmdwp (talk) 17:42, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
