Fair use rationale for Image:Craccum cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Craccum cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:10, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel Sloan is Fictious[edit]

Having met the man myself, I can confirm he is, as alleged by the 2007 editors, entirely fictional. Winstonwolfe 22:55, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How can you meet a fictional person?-gadfium 00:49, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I refer you to the works of Jasper Fforde, or failing that, Lewis Carroll;
"Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things."
"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Winstonwolfe 02:37, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel Sloan is the 2008 editors name, not Dan. Since the year is now 2009 he is a previous editor, the new editors are as stated. The prior edit of this article by Mandarax was unnecessary. 118.92.99.113 (talk) 06:14, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dan Sloan has been elected as editor for 2010. I have changed the name for the 2008 record because he was listed on this ballot as Dan Sloan and campaigned under that name. For the sake of consistency, these should probably be the same. --ClubmanGT (talk) 06:49, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vanity Edits[edit]

I have noticed what seems to be several vanity edits on this page, that really do not add anything to the article, nor are really that relevant. Should they be removed? --ClubmanGT (talk) 10:34, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
