23 October - Birthdate[edit]
Craig, in this video seems to confirm his birthday is 23 October 1970 in this youtube video /0JvDauIX5lg?t=4393. Additionally on his form 1.977 filing he states his birthday is also 23 October 1970
Can this please reflect additional sources from his business filings? this wiki only shows birth month and year, not the 23rd of October. 80.112.177.234 (talk) 10:41, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
- i can confirm this: proper timestamp is /watch?v=0JvDauIX5lg&t=4393s. [4393 seconds into the video] eyeCommented (talk) 14:46, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
Question about Wikipedia neutrality[edit]
This is just a question about how neutral the article and Wikipedia should be.
"These claims are regarded as false by much of the media and the cryptocurrency community."
Wouldn't the word "some" in the phrase "xxxx of the media" be better?
It would also be better if it actually listed the groups involved like the backers such as Jack Dorsey, Block, Coinbase, etc. behind the crypto open patent alliance (COPA). https://www.opencrypto.org/
Interestingly this crypto open patent alliance doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. But the open patent alliance not to be confused with COPA does have one.
I think it would be better if Wikipedia didn't take sides and simply reported based on reliable sources which is always not easy 😁
The court cases are online and are a wealth of information.
I am willing to help if interested let me know

Not a doctor[edit]
The article claims that he has a phd. Reliable sources show that his “phd” is a lie. Here is such source. 4.30.80.228 (talk) 03:27, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- The PhD the article refers to was granted in 2017, the article you link is dated 2015. I'm absolutely not disputing the fact he lied about having a PhD before then of course. The wikipedia article cites this FWIW. Uelx (talk) 17:02, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
- yeah, the PhD is real - it's on the CSU site - David Gerard (talk) 19:41, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
