The coordinates of Madenşehir (village) has been given and it is claimed that the village lies 3 miles north of Karaman (ancient Larende). This second claim is incorrect. Madenşehri lies 17 miles from Karaman. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 02:31, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable sources[edit]

The Bible is not a reliable source for analysis or commentary. See WP:RSP. Amazon is not a reliable source, it is a commercial site for selling books. Please use Google Books or a similar catalog site. Elizium23 (talk) 17:02, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Dervenagas, Elizium23, Sundayclose, and Shinyedit: I have locked this page for a week so that you all can quit edit warring, come here to the talk page, and discuss what should be in the article and why.

Dervenagas: I notice that all these other people seem to disagree with you, so you are the one who needs to explain your position and convince the others that you are correct. And unless and until you do, you need to stop adding this material against consensus. Location within Turkey[edit]

I presume the red mark on the thumbnail map is the location. But when I click on the thumbnail, I get a larger map with no mark. 伟思礼 (talk) 15:15, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to upload an image marking the spot on a map (to Wikimedia Commons). The upload failed, even though the prior page had no error messages. I was logged in at the commons (same user ID). 伟思礼 (talk) 15:42, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
