Importance of this article[edit]

Can someone defend this article's worthiness? This woman seems to be of no real substance other than being 'friends with...' or 'related to...' or 'aunt my marriage...' to other people of little importance. The argument can be made that others around her may have been of some importance, but this woman herself, not so much. I move for removal.63.118.154.94 (talk) 17:38, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. If nothing else, she was a First Lady of Connecticut, which is de facto notable in numerous other articles on Governor's wives (ie: Maria Shriver or Laura Bush). It's kind of like why Ethel Kennedy has an article -- she was a part of a political family. I do agree that this article like so many others on WP needs a lot of work though.
