Cicero's Exile[edit]

Cicero spent all his exile in Thessaloniki. A few years later he was proconsul of Cilicia. Then he could have been at Epiphania, but not during his exile.90.186.136.203 (talk) 00:19, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Saint Amphion[edit]

Persecutions of Diocletian c. 303 are earlier then the First Council of Nicaea in 325. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johny SYSEL (talkcontribs) 16:12, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conflation with the city of Hama in Syria[edit]

May I please refer to the section "Titular bishopric of the Roman Church". I think that these bishops were actually bishops of Hama in Syria, which is known as "Epiphania" in ecclesiastical documents. They could not have been bishops of Epiphania in Turkey, because by that time this ancient Turkish city was already in ruins. Even the Reference cited, i.e. "http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/diocese/d2e34.html", actually refers to the Syrian city, not to the ancient Turkish one.
