Moved from article[edit]

I have moved this to the talk page, which seems the correct place:

Note for editors: article appears to be an amateur attempt to associate the Uí Néill kindred with later monarchs of Scotland. See Muirchertach mac Muiredaig (mac Ercae), and Muiredach mac Eógain.

Sorry about that line and my silly behavior when I edited this a couple weeks ago. It turns out that these errors are at least a century or two old and some of it is reproduced in O'Hart's Irish Pedigrees, which I've added to the references. Byrne, whom I've also added, talks more about the Erca problem. DinDraithou (talk) 20:10, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disconnect with another page[edit]

The line "They may have been descendants of Conaire Cóem." is in direct conflict with Art mac Cuinn page as Erc's ancestors roll up to Art mac Cuinn who was brother in law to Conaire Coem not descended from.Justify265 (talk) 19:46, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
