Janne Wirman??[edit]
I have to say how much respect I have for him first. Ok, so how do we know this and where is it confirmed? We'll need some citations until it has become common knowledge or delete it as I haven't found any information supporting this addition. I hope it's true though. Error in article[edit]
In the article, it states "he band originally consisted of vocalist Ivan Moody, rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory,". Later it states "making rhythm guitarist Bathory the only remaining founding member of the band." I don't know the history of the band fully, but only one of these statements can be accurate. Ivan Moody is the current vocalist, but is not the original vocalist, nor a founding member. The first statement is an error, and more information needs to be added as to who the original vocalist was, and when Moody took over. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cm9122 (talk • contribs) 19:26, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
- Completely agree - one of those statements can't be correct. There's an HTML comment in the article asking people to stop removing the statement about Bathory being the only remaining founding member, however it doesn't seem there was another vocalist before Moody? - Looks like user @Bowling is life is the one who added the comment. Care to weigh in here on how this confusing section can be fixed?

- @Jlbruno: In the first paragraph of the history section it says that Ivan didn't join until 2006. The band formed and they just didn't have a vocalist until 2006 when Moody joined. Meaning, he is not a founding member. Bowling is life (talk) 04:25, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Bowling is life It sounds like a semantic issue - did a band that consisted of nothing but a rhythm guitarist and a drummer exist without a lead guitarist and vocalist? Or was it just two guys looking to put a band together that didn't form until they added all their other original members?
- However, if you feel strongly about it, I'd suggest this line needs to be edited, which absolutely makes it sound like Moody was an original member of the band.
- "The band originally consisted of vocalist and keyboardist Ivan Moody, rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory, lead guitarist Caleb Andrew Bingham, bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer."
- How about something like:
- "The band was founded by rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory and drummer Jeremy Spencer, and within a year of their founding had added vocalist and keyboardist Ivan Moody, lead guitarist Caleb Andrew Bingham, and bassist Matt Snell." Jlbruno (talk) 14:04, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
