Balanced Point of View?[edit]

A good start although there is much that could be added and, no doubt, will be.

However the last sentence "Campaigners won a bid to block the demolition of a beloved art deco cinema.[2]" is strongly in favour of keeping the building when other views exist that this is a faint remnant of a building with superficially attractive features. The campaigners seek to use it a community asset - likely to require large sums - say £2 million, which will never be found. Meanwhile, this would be a very popular site for quality homes like those built recently further down the street. [1] Sebmelmoth (talk) 10:41, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'd agree that "beloved" is probably not in line with encyclopedic tone, and would support changing the line to "demolition of the art deco cinema." Lirazelf (talk) 14:50, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
