gold bromide is dark crystaline solid it has nutral in nature

article contradicts itself and is confusing

Gold(III) bromide is a dimer. The monomer hasn't been found. In complexes with ligands the dimer is broken up and species with a single gold atom are formed e.g. AuBr₄⁻. the article confuses complexes with the compound. --Axiosaurus (talk) 18:24, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

I see the problem- the reference regarding AuBr₃ monomer is a calculation of the stability of the monomeric species-the monomer itself has not been observed. I shall tweak the article to reflect this--Axiosaurus (talk) 09:11, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
