Ibra Bintang, the lead sentence specially refers to “province of Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta and East Java”. It’s not clear to me why Banten and West Java are excluded. Could you explain? —jameslucas▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄ 19:40, 17 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Javans ≠ Javanese. Banten and West Java are excluded due to their significant populations of ethnic groups are Bantenese, Sundanese, Baduy, and Cirebonese. Those ethnic groups are different with and not a part of or as sub-ethnic groups of Javanese. Thank you for asking. —Ibra Bintang (talk) 18:02, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I have edit the first few paragraphs for grammar and clarity. I trimmed the part about the provinces because I think that distracts more than clarifies. The first sentence needs to be very to-the-point, and it sounds like the phrase "ethnic Javanese" is the important part. —jameslucas▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄ 22:38, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your help to correcting the lead paragraph. Have a nice day! —Ibra Bintang (talk) 14:50, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
