Proposed merge of Calamyde into Kalamydi[edit]

The result was: merged. P. Aculeius' argument that Calamyde should be the proper title didn't receive any support, so I merged to Kalamydi per the original suggestion. Any move discussion should probably also consider Kalamyde. Caeciliusinhorto (talk) 10:47, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to Calamyde. As an site from Greek antiquity, it should be found under its ancient Greek name—as traditionally transliterated into the Latin alphabet—rather than a modern transliteration of the modern Greek name. Until yesterday nearly all of the details about this place were found at Calamyde, while this was a much smaller stub. The expansion of the article into a slightly larger stub is fine—but it should go under "Calamyde". The lead can still provide the modern name, and anyone who searches for that will still arrive at the correct article. P Aculeius (talk) 10:49, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
