Are 'Mor Sabor and Mor Aphroth' and 'St. Gervase and St. Protase' same? --Peopledowhattheyoughttodo 05:06, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I assume so, based on the assumption that two 'twin' christian saints were unlikely. I even go further to assume that Sabor and Aphroth, and its variations prevailing in malayalam language are Syriac rendering of Gervase and Portase respectively. --Peopledowhattheyoughttodo 05:06, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Also I find it unlikely that Mor Sabor and Mor Aphroth consecrate churches after their own name, even if it refers to their name bearer. So the name 'Qadishangal' must later given to these churces and may actually refer to latter Sabor and Aphroth, since they have been considered as saints. --Peopledowhattheyoughttodo 05:06, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Could any historians throw some light here? --Peopledowhattheyoughttodo 05:06, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
