I have removed this:

", and it was a Jewish tribe before converting to Islam after the prophet Muhammad ... "

If Kinanah included the ancestors of the Quraysh, then they were certainly not Jewish before converting to islam.Agger (talk) 13:13, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agger, is that pure speculation on your part? A number of Jewish tribes have been historically documented to have converted from Judaism to Islam, so I am unable to discern the source of your objection to its inclusion. While the assertion by the original author does not provide a reference for their argument, neither do you. It could be BS or it could be based on some knowledge they had acquired through reading. By deleting the content, we will never know and it is presumptuous to assume otherwise. Is there any valid basis for your assertion? Article is Unreferenced[edit]

This article is unreferenced. It also appears that the creator of it had little understanding of Wikipedia format and has a very "homespun" flavor to it. While the original author maintains that there are "Reliable References", to reference another participant-written article from within Wikipedia, does not make it a reference. As such, with nearly every reference referring to another article in Wikipedia, this article essentially has no references. The map reconstruction looks to have taken much time but again it seems to be uncertain as to its validity... I will change what I can to bring it more in line with the general Wikpedia format...
