Included Countries in the List[edit]

It seems that in the past there has been a back and forth as to which countries should be included on the list either because of a dispute about whether the country is "Arab" (Chad, Somalia) or whether an entity is considered a country (Western Sahara, Palestine). I think as a general rule of thumb, this list should include all states and territories from Arab_World#States_and_territories. Any thoughts on this? Eritrea[edit]

Eritrea is not a member of the Arab League (as the table suggests). 85.70.117.103 (talk) 17:28, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What about Iran?[edit]

Isn't Iran considered as an Arab country? --83.130.107.195 (talk) 19:00, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Iran is a Persian country not Arab Nlivataye (talk) 10:04, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated estimates[edit]

I've linked that official estimates column to the WP's central population page. Not sure where those figures in the Current population column are from, but they seam wildly outdated. Guarapiranga (talk) 23:17, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Enough[edit]

Comoros and Djibouti are not Arab countries just like Somalia isn’t Nlivataye (talk) 10:05, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gulf countries[edit]

Shouldn’t we exclude expats numbers in Gulf countries which make up 90% of Emirati, Qatar pop and more than half of Kuwait, Bahrain and a third of Saudi and Oman which will make the actual Arab pop significantly smaller Nlivataye (talk) 10:07, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a list of Arab countries by population, not a list of Arab populations by countries. — 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚  02:06, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
