I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring your attention to a significant oversight in the English Wikipedia page titled "List of Persian Calligraphers" specifically in the section dedicated to "Contemporary Iranian Calligraphers".

It has come to my notice that there are several notable names missing from this list, rendering it quite limited and lacking in representation.

One of the prominent contemporary calligraphers that I would like to highlight is Hamidreza Ghelichkhani. He is not only an accomplished calligrapher but also the creator of a new character in Iranian calligraphy. This innovative character, formed by combining the letters "ه" (h) and "و" (w), adds a unique dimension to the realm of Iranian-Islamic calligraphy. Ghelichkhani's portfolio includes an impressive array of calligraphic artworks and illuminated manuscripts, showcasing various Iranian-Islamic scripts.

Of particular significance is his introduction of the standalone character "هو" which enriches the existing repertoire of Iranian-Islamic calligraphy characters. Hamidreza Ghelichkhani has emerged as one of the leading figures in contemporary visual arts and calligraphy in Iran. His contributions have not only expanded the boundaries of calligraphic expression but have also nurtured the heritage of this traditional art form in the modern context.

It is my earnest request that the Wikipedia page "List of Persian Calligraphers" be updated to include Hamidreza Ghelichkhani's name in the section devoted to contemporary Iranian calligraphers. His pioneering work and influential role in advancing calligraphy deserve recognition alongside other esteemed artists.
