Copyright problem removed[edit]

Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material was copied from: http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1207, http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1293, http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/21, and presumably many other pages of the same site. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and according to fair use may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 16:14, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Buddhas[edit]

This article makes no reference to the Buddhas which were in Bamiyan. I understand they were destroyed, but atleast a small note would suffice. Ditto for other destroyed structures. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.26.123.208 (talk) 06:22, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Israel/Palestine[edit]

I noticed that the two WHS entries inscribed by Palestine in recent years are both listed under Israel on the main list. While I appreciate the politics of the issue are complicated, UNESCO has identified Palestine as the primary state party responsible for those sites. I think the list should be updated accordingly, by someone better skilled than I am.

Really important[edit]

Hello, can anyone kindly add the Al-Maghtas in Jordan to the list? It was recently designated as such. [1] --Makeandtoss (talk) 13:58, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What's missing?[edit]

According to the article Susa, it was added to the list in 2015, but is missing here. The newer end of the list here looks rather scarce, so it might be worthwhile to look up the original listings and check whether there are other sites missing from this and other similar articles. --Oop (talk) 12:45, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Historic Istanbul in Asia[edit]

Why is the historic area of Istanbul on this list? The Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace are all in Europe, so shouldn't they be on the Eastern Europe page?? (Central Data Bank (talk) 17:32, 7 December 2018 (UTC))[reply]
