Should not be a redirect, aqueducts are a far larger topic than just aqueducts in Rome. I will expand the list soon when I have found enough aqueducts to list.Shannon1talk contribs 01:40, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why Canal du Midi[edit]

Am curious why CdM is shown in this list. Though a big fan of Canal du Midi and frequent author of its story, it doesn't seem like it fits here. Personally, I would like to see a list of aqueducts that include such great structures as Briare aqueduct and Orb Aqueduct. GloverEpp (talk) 15:25, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like there's some confusion with the various types of aqueducts. Even I am confused what to put on this list. There are the aqueducts that are for carrying water only, like California's multiple great manmade rivers, then there are ones that carry canals. And then some people refer to aqueducts as bridges carrying canals only... maybe all of these should be included? The list was originally intended to include canals for transporting water only... I guess I confused the definition a tad bit. Shannontalk contribs 01:22, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
