Arlington Cemetery[edit]

...is barely two miles from the White House. It's absurd to call this a "trip". I don't think this list, or those for previous presidents, should include 10-minute drives. It unnecessarily lengthens/clutters the article. Reywas92Talk 01:46, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So we should draw the line at 11 minutes? Trips to Walter Reed? Other Maryland government facilities? Jdavi333 (talk)
I get that it is sort of silly, but many who help edit these lists are outside of the Beltway and may not know how close Arlington (or Bethesda, etc.) are to D.C. These small 'trips' really aren't that frequent as it is. I think it's easier for other editors to have the simplicity of - inside DC or Camp David, not on the list; Outside of DC and Camp David, it goes on the list. --Avilan01 (talk) 06:14, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not just editors, but many (most?) of the people who read these articles aren't even American. Jdavi333 (talk)

Question[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians. Can we add a future trip even though President Biden hasn't agreed? What about these:

Thanks. KRtau16 (talk) 07:07, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think not. I am hesitant about including even the G7 and G20 trips, but at least those he will almost certainly attend, unless COVID is still a problem. He might be randomly invited to any international country, but it would be too crazy to include all of them. Jdavi333 (talk) 14:19, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Jdavi333, Copy that. Thanks for explaining. Happy editing. KRtau16 (talk) 19:13, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach[edit]

I am very torn about the Delaware trips. His "Wilmington" house is actually outside Wilmington city limits, and is in the census designated place Greenville. His "Rehoboth Beach" home is outside of city limits, and is indeed in unincorporated land in Sussex County, DE, or else in the unincorporated neighborhood of North Shores, DE. While I am ok with using Rehoboth Beach for the beach home, I feel like using Wilmington for the main home is inaccurate, especially considering there is a more narrow "official" location we can use. Thoughts? Jdavi333 (talk) 23:59, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
