On Flickr there is a photo of Wareing, published under the Creative Commons 2.0 non-commercial. The uploader is active and it wouldn't hurt to ask if he would be willing to publish it under a Wikipedia-friendly license.

The "fued" in the lead could be given a clearer context, I don't follow it, and what is meant by "work directly"?

The last sentence of the lead is confusing, it lead me to believe that Great British Menu was Ramsay-based; a reword would be nice.

I've reworded the lead a little and changed the structuring at the end - also removed the reference to "shows" as the old version of the article said that he also appeared on the follow-up Beyond Boiling Point but I couldn't find a reference for it. Miyagawa (talk) 17:46, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Following a fall out between Ramsay and A-Z Restaurants if there is more information more context of the "fallout" would be appreciated.

Turns out you were right on the ball here - the fallout was in fact over Wareing's contract. I've added a cite, and also slightly modified the line saying Wareing quit L'Oranger as I've also found citations saying he was sacked and so I've changed it to simply that he left the restaurant. serve his take on old Grill Room classics such as steak and kidney pudding and potted shrimps... perhaps give an earlier mention of the cuisine of the Grill Room for context here

He also opened his take on an American diner at The Savoy called Banquette, not sure the "Banquette" link goes where you want it to

I'm not comfortable passing this as a GA with the amount of references to tabloids, especially with how heavily reference 2 is used throughout the article. Could you explain to me how these should be reliable? Albacore (talk) 16:34, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well Ref 2 is mainly an expanded interview piece despite the rather outlandish title of the article. The Daily Mail based pieces are pretty much either publicity pieces for Wareing or interviews. Where I've needed to cover subjects of a bit more of the discerning nature, I've tried to steer away from the Mail because well... it's a comic book for grumpy old men really. In my mind at least the Telegraph has a little more standing and tends to run with less tabloid-esque features and so I tried to keep more to that, The Independent and Caterer and Hotelkeeper (which is an industry print magazine). The only time I use a cite from the Mail regarding the fued between Ramsay and Wareing was for a quote and to say that Ramsay was best man at Wareing's wedding - which admittedly I have a second cite for but as it's from the Daily Mirror I figured I was better off with two tabloids saying the same thing rather than just one. this could be used to add information about Brian and replace the tabloid reference.

this could replace the Daily Mail reference to the kids in the personal life section

"Marcus lives in a multi-million pound house with his family near Wandsworth Common,[2]", the Daily Mail reference should be replaced by the WSJ reference.
