unattributed verbatim copying from published author[edit]

Significant portions of this article are copied verbatim from A MANUAL OF GREEK LITERATURE by Charles Anthon. I may have overlooked attribution, but if it's there, I didn't see it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.227.219.189 (talk) 17:40, 24 October 2013 (UTC) Well, now I see that the same text is found in Smith's Dictionary, which is cited. Looks like whatever copying was done happened long before the existence of Wikipedia.
