Hi Jenn, Great article. We worked as a group to define our headings/categories, so those look great. Not sure if you could utilize the 'Instrumentation and uses' heading some of the more technical articles are incorporating. You had mentioned soldering and welding for example. There was one typo in the Education section: "their background may technical" did you want to say "may be technical?" Have you come across any good mount images to inset here? Perhaps one image of an actual mount and a second image showing the artifact being held by the unobtrusive mount. This pair of images would provide a visual illustration of the process and end result of a mount maker's work. Jennifer, I enjoyed looking over your outline for a mount maker, and I think that you are off to a great start. The outline seems to have all of the sections necessary to properly describe the position and is organized in a logical and thought-out manner. I think that you did a great job of merging the information from our two previous articles together and have made some good additions. Specifically, I enjoyed the Related Positions category; you added many positions I had not thought of, but are important to a mount maker such as installation technician and case fabricator. I do not really have any suggestions as far as improving the outline goes. If you wanted, you could add a section on the types of materials a mount maker uses as it pertains to the knowledge and skills a person would need. As far as resources, the Smithsonian’s Office of Exhibits Central has a blog that includes a section on mount making that might be good to add as an external link and the CCI has a course on the subject which might have useful information. The only other thing I think that you could add is a picture or two which would help satisfy the Wikipedia guidelines. If you do not have any of your own pictures to use, maybe you could use some that are already on Wikipedia such as Foamcore or a Hanging scroll.
