WPJ Assessment Commentary[edit]

Well written article. The main things seperating it from B-class are the references. I counted three, maybe four (one for the translation, if that wasn't in the pamphlet), but they are not formatted properly or consistently. There should be in-line citations that refer to the three sources. Boneyard90 (talk) 05:43, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

波上宮 vs 波之上宮[edit]

There are two ways to the Name of the Naminoue-guu: 波上宮 and 波之上宮. Signs in the area are somewhat inconsistant on that, some include the 之, some omit it. Charms of the shrine usually include the 之. ––180.7.58.61 (talk) 14:39, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Layout[edit]

The article whould be more "complete" if something is said about the layout of the shrine. During my visits I saw the following: It's quite compact. It has one main entrance. You enter the site through a Toori and climb a few stairs (for those who want to bless or exorcise their car, a road/ramp goes parallel to the stairs). Atop you find the purification font to the left a bit further is a fireplace. Right of the main hall you find the shrine office. At the right end of the office building you can enter a site for worshipping "Mizuko" (or Water Children). --180.7.58.61 (talk) 15:00, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
