I believe the correct given name of this person is Nathaniel, rather than Nathan. Authoritative sources give the name Nathaniel, including: the Rothschild Archive, The House of Rothschild by Niall Ferguson, and the Encyclopedia Brittanica, 11th Ed. Nathan Mayer is the grandfather of Nathaniel Mayer. Because so many Rothschilds have similar names, I also think it's important to include the middle names on article titles. I propose to leave this open to comments for a month or so before moving and renaming the article "Nathaniel Mayer Rothschild, 1st Baron Rothschild". WCCasey (talk) 05:52, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
