Hey NACURH!

Mascots[edit]

I could have sworn the IACURH mascot was called Spank T. Monkey. Is it a former name that has been deleted from history to maintain a cleaner image? Or was it unofficial? - Keith D. Tyler (AMA) 21:58, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It used to be Spank T Monkey. I believe in 2003-04 (don't quote me on that) they changed it to Funk E. Monkey. Dwtootles 23:26, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was changed in 2002-2003 as part of IACURH's P.I.E. initiative. (Professionalism, Integrity, and Ethics). It's now known as Funk E(dwards) Monkey. jtowns 11:57, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A reference to something explaining that would be great. - Keith D. Tyler (AMA) 18:11, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was looking for a supporting document, since that comes from my memory of sitting in the boardroom for way too many hours, but alas -- I couldn't find any reference to it. Until I can back that up with something other than my memory, I won't be adding it. jtowns 10:18, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm... there must have been a resolution, right? - Keith D. Tyler (AMA) 08:09, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RBDs[edit]

I'm starting to wonder if constantly updating this page every time an RBD flips a member (which happens at least once a year, pretty much) is encyclopedic. Would there be enough material to make meaningful articles on each region? - Keith D. Tyler (AMA) 08:08, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

External Links[edit]

What, exactly is the problem with a link to a social networking site? The LinkedIn group is a bona fide NACURH alumni group (take a look at the members). Does it violate a rule to have a link to it? Thanks in advance. CRStengel (talk) 05:09, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am pretty sure this is why the link to the social networking site was removed WP:NOT#SOCIALNET. I could be wrong but that is what makes the most sense to me. Dwtootles (talk) 23:15, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well there you have it then...thanks for the reference...I'll figure wikipedia out eventually, I guess 71.245.189.78 (talk) 02:50, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

NACURH Annual Conference Map[edit]

I was looking at the map and reading through the places held and I've noticed a few discrepencies and issues.

1. The color on the key for 1 conference held and 0 conference held.

2. The key has no grey color. I assume it's supposed to mean 0 conferences held, but if that's the case.

3. There are some states colored grey have held one (Syracuse held it in 2005 according to the list), so New York should probably be peach (assuming peach is supposed to mean 1). Also South Carolina is grey and has held a conference (1993) according to the list.
