Untitled[edit]

I think it might be better to list out weapon systems, rather than putting everything in large-chunk paragraphs? Also, is "maturize" a word? -- Adeptitus 04:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Major Revision[edit]

I found so much copyvio stuff and bad layout that I've decided to overhaul the entire article, but it will take a while. I'm wikifying, adding pictures and references, and getting rid of made up words like 'maturize'. --Shrieking Harpy Talk|Count 18:35, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redundancy in article name[edit]

I'll freely admit that I have never seen, heard of, or known about the existence of this article before having run across it randomly. However, its name intrigues me. "Naval Weaponry of the People's Liberation Army Navy". It sounds to me an awful like the old joke about the "Redundancy Department of Redundancy". Would it not be better to have it written as "Armaments* of the People's Liberation Army Navy", (* or another similar adjective, such as Weaponry) or perhaps "Naval Weaponry of the People's Liberation Army"? You could rename it to armaments, I suppose, but the proper name of the navy is the People's Liberation Army Navy. It sounds more inelegant in English than it does in Chinese.--ElaragirlTalk|Count 16:20, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
